Senior counsel, working directly on your matter.

Adam Law is built around senior, hands-on involvement — the lawyer you meet is the lawyer who does the work. The practice is growing deliberately, adding depth where clients need it most.

Ahmad Adam

Principal · Corporate, Securities & Structured Finance

Ahmad Adam advises corporations, banks, and investment dealers on their most consequential corporate, securities, financial services, and structured finance mandates.

His practice spans banking, finance, and securities law, with particular depth in structured finance and securitisation, corporate finance, and project finance. He acts for issuers, underwriters, and investment banks across a wide range of asset classes — residential and commercial mortgages, credit card receivables, automotive loan and lease receivables, equipment receivables, commission receivables, and trade receivables — structuring transactions that have to withstand scrutiny long after they close.

Ahmad began his career as a corporate and securities associate at Dentons, then moved in-house — first at The Globe and Mail, later at BNY Mellon — where he saw first-hand how legal structure meets commercial reality. Most recently, he was a partner at Miller Thomson LLP, advising clients across Canada.
